This programme is for pre-selected players who are ready to move into the games pathway.

The Under 6 Games Programme is designed for children in Year 1 (September 2025 – June 2026) who have shown they are ready to take the next step from Football Development sessions into more structured team-based football.

Sessions will now focus on:

• Learning how to play as part of a team
• Understanding simple match rules and positioning
• Developing confidence in small-sided games
• Continuing to improve movement, coordination and ball control

The environment will remain positive, supportive and development-focused. While this group forms part of the Spennymoor Town Youth FC pathway, the priority will always be enjoyment, learning and helping each child grow at their own pace.

This programme is ideal for children who are ready to experience regular games in a structured setting and begin their team football journey.
